Candidates are starting to turn in nomination papers

There is currently a three-way race for the Clinton City Council Second Ward Seat.

Current office holder Lynn McGraw announced she has filed to run for another term.  Earlier there were two other candidates filing nomination papers.  Clinton City Clerk Lisa Frederick reports Andre Ruby and Cyara Peterson have filed papers to run for the Second Ward seat.

By Friday at last report-Rhonda Kearns has filed a petition to run for the 4^th Ward Seat.

Current Mayor Mark Vulich has also filed to run for another term.

Candidates have until September 19^th to turn in the papers to run for a city or school board seat in the November 5^th election.
