The City of Clinton will be holding flag ceremony at 9:00 A.M. on October 14, 2019 for the new flags in the parking lot across the street from City Hall.
There will be a special flag raising ceremony for the American flag, State flag and City flag.
In addition to the new flag area-the parking lot has on open space in the center. City Administrator Matt Brooke says the center will be setup to honor Clinton Police and Firefighters who have died in the line of duty with red and blue benches.
Brooke said some further ideas will be presented in the capital improvement projects.
Brooke added that trees will be planted in the green spaces in the parking lot later this month.
