Congressman Dave Loebsack announced today that in the interest of public safety and to help slow the spread of COVID-19, or Coronavirus, he will be closing his physical offices in Iowa City, Davenport and Washington, DC effective March 17, 2020. All staff will continue to serve Iowans via teleworking. Iowans will be able to reach our office during normal business hours (8:30am-6:00pm CT) and all emails will continued to be monitored on a regular basis. Additionally, office hours held by Loebsack’s District Representatives in all 24 counties will be canceled until further notice.
“During these times, we must follow the guidance of medical professionals, put the health of Iowans first and take preventative action to ensure folks can get they assistance they need without putting the health of others at risk,” said Loebsack. “My office and staff will remain available to assist Iowans with issues that may arise. We will continue to actively monitor the situation and will provide additional updates as information becomes available. It is imperative that everyone continues to follow the advice of local, state and federal officials and take the appropriate steps to remain healthy and well.”
Iowans living in the Second Congressional District are encouraged to continue to contact any of Dave’s offices.
