The Clinton City Council and Clinton County Board will be meeting this week.
The Clinton City Council holds regular session this evening (Tuesday). The business session includes proposed action for the city to oppose a recent rate increase request from Iowa American Water Company. The council will also consider a request for 100-thousand dollars from the state management COVID19 Relief fund for expenses related for a response to the pandemic.

During a Committee Of The Whole Session the Council will review a Downtown Master Plan.

There will also be a special session for a performance review of City’s legal counsel – the Lynch Dallas Law Firm.

The Clinton County Board will be meeting Wednesday morning this week instead of the usual Monday session.
The Supervisors will consider a resolution to formally request the county’s share of funds to aid in the 2020 election for COVID 19 related expenses. The county share of the Vote Safe Grant is about 26-thousand dollars.
The Supervisors will also hear the regular Coronavirus update and other updates.
