Through a monetary donation from LyondellBasell the Clinton Fire Department has increased the capabilities and safety while operating at structure fires. The donation was used to purchase battery operated fans to control smoke inside of structures that are on fire.
The Department previously used gasoline powered fans that were loud, heavy and put off carbon monoxide. The new fans and batteries were all purchased locally. The Fire Department is extremely appreciative of LyondellBasell’s support and generous donation.
