What: Area Substance Abuse Council (ASAC) serves more than 20,000 individuals with prevention, treatment and recovery services in a five-county region of Benton, Clinton, Jackson, Jones and Linn. Our team:
· Researches current substance use issues.
· Partners with communities to develop strategies for prevention and intervention.
· Educates and informs businesses, youth and communities.
· Treats substance use and problem gambling.
· Specializes in parenting and pregnant mothers and youth for residential treatment.
· Supports individuals and families dealing with health issues related to substance use treatment and recovery.
ASAC experts will provide a short presentation and will open up for discussion.
