A local Cancer Society fundraiser is featured as a Hope Lodge Hero this year to raise funds and awareness for the effort in Iowa City to provide a place with family to stay while a family undergoes cancer treatment.
Karen Roode of Low Moor has raised funds for many years for the Cancer Society and the Hope Lodge. She says this year the fundraising effort for the Hope Lodge is an on-line effort headlined for people from around the state and she’s one of those heroes. Hear more in this conversation
