On January 1st, 2023 at 2:11 a.m., the Clinton Police Department responded to a shooting at 420 Glenwood Place in Clinton. When officers arrived, they found an adult male with a gunshot wound. The male was transported to Mercy One where he was pronounced deceased.
The decedent was identified as 42-year-old Randy R. Weimerskirch, of Clinton, IA.
Clinton Police, along with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigations, arrested Kimberly A. Hammond, age 25, and Justice K Foley, age 24 for Murder in The First Degree and Robbery in The First Degree.

Also arrested was Donivan W.J. Chambers, Age 28 for Accessory After the Fact.

At this time, there does not appear to be any threats to the community. Investigation into this incident continues by the Clinton Police Department.
