The District has been informed by the Scott County Sheriff’s Office that Alexandria Naughton, a District employee, has been arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance. The conduct which led to Ms. Naughton’s arrest and charges occurred off school grounds and did not occur at a school activity. When the District was made aware of information regarding Ms. Naughton’s conduct and actions, the District immediately took action to remove her from the District; prevented her from having contact with students prior to the beginning of the school year; and cooperated with law enforcement.
The District will continue to cooperate with law enforcement and take other appropriate action based upon Ms. Naughton’s conduct and the charges that have been filed against her.
