DAVENPORT, IA (December 1, 2023) – Iowa American Water and its parent company, American
Water (NYSE: AWK), the nation’s largest publicly traded water and wastewater utility company,
announced today it will offer 30 fully remote, customer service job opportunities for residents of the
Quad Cities metropolitan community and its surrounding areas.

The entry-level, work-from-home Customer Care Agent (CCA) positions will be open to individuals
that live in the Quad Cities or within a two-hour driving distance of the Davenport office. Successful
applicants will have the opportunity to address service needs for Iowa American Water customers as
well as all customers within American Water’s regulated footprint.
