Homemade Health & Home “Spring Cleaning”
On Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 10:00 A.M. there will be a Health & Home “Spring Cleaning” program held at the Wapsi River Environmental Education Center in Diaon, IA. Come join Wapsi River Center staff and learn to become more sustainable by creating your own health and home products made with natural ingredients. Also learn about upcycling and reducing your footprint on the planet!
The program costs $8/person for supplies. We plan to make hand sanitizer, multipurpose cleaner, and lemon-scented soap. Please bring a small reusable squeeze bottle (a 2-3 oz travel shampoo bottle for example) and a container to transport soap home. Online registration is required. To register, go to:

The Wapsi River Environmental Education Center can be found 6 miles south of Wheatland or 1 mile northwest of Dixon, Iowa by taking County Road Y4E. Then turn north at 52nd Avenue and follow the signs for about 1 mile.
