The Clinton County Board, Clinton School Board & Clinton City Council among the governmental bodies meeting this week-check ‘more’ for some of the topics they’ll be discussing
The Clinton County Board meets on Monday in their regular session.
The business portion of the meeting starts at 9:15.
Among the items for consideration is action to authorize the Clinton County Justice Coordinating Commission to continue to study and develop new law center plans.
The commission was formed a few years ago to work with all aspects of the local justice system to help reduce crowding at the jail and look at plans for a new facility.

Monday is the regular meeting of the Clinton School Board. The meeting is at 5:30 at the school’s Administrative Center.
There will be a public hearing on the proposal from a Quad City based developer’s proposal to purchase the Washington-Jefferson building for a conversion to apartments. There will also be several reports presented to the board including a monthly report from students about various programs at their school.

Tuesday is the business and committee of the whole meetings for the Clinton City Council.
The council will hold a public hearing on the plans to clean up the Odeon site plus the council will consider a proposal to purchase that site at 80 25th Avenue North.
Approval of a contract with a web design firm to build a new city website is also on the agenda,
During the Committee of the Whole session, council member Ed O’Neill has asked for a discussion about the Miller Ridge Apartments.
