Clinton, IA – The Downtown Clinton Alliance is announcing the kickoff of Music on the Avenue events for 2024. We are pleased to announce our first performer kicking off the summer events is Brooke Byam, this Thursday June 13th from 6p to 8p in the 200 block of Downtown Clinton.
Music on the Avenue has been able to expand this year’s music lineup from 8 events to 9 events running every Thursday evening from June 13th until August 8th. The event runs from 6 PM to 8 PM weekly in the 200 Block of 5th Ave. S. Music events will feature a guest emcee each week which will be entertaining to the events as well!
The summer band lineup includes Brooke Byam on 6/13, 3 on the Tree on 6/20, Crooked Cactus Band on 6/27, Staff Infection on 7/4, 10 of Soul on 7/11, The Stockwell’s on 7/18, Down 24 on 7/25, Moonshine Run on 7/1 and concludes with The Wild Oatz Band on 8/8.
Each week features a new band, various food vendors including Kelley Girls Pizza, Hollys Dogs, D-lectable D-lites, Glazey Daze Donuts, Mahala Sweet Treats and Mikes Fun Food providing Kettle Corn. This year’s beer and seltzer vendor is The Rusty Barrel Lounge, a local downtown business.
Music goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to the event and leave the coolers at home. New this summer, Music on the Avenue will feature a local Non-Profit each week at events for patrons to learn more about these organizations and what they offer to our community.
