LibraryTALK Series

The Clinton Public Library is seeking community input as it creates its next strategic plan. The public is invited to attend upcoming LibraryTALK sessions to share their input. Attendees will help library staff members develop new strategies to engage the greater Clinton community.

LibraryTALK sessions will be held in August and September at different locations. Most sessions require or encourage people to register. Free food will be provided at all events.

Individuals can still provide their input if they can’t attend a LibraryTALK event. They can fill out a form, either by visiting the library or completing it online, through September.

The State Library of Iowa recommends that a strategic plan for libraries “projects up to five years into the future and outlines the library’s goals and objectives to meet the community’s needs. Developing a plan involves the library staff and board, as well as public input,” according to the State Library of Iowa’s website.

The public can view the Clinton Public Library’s current strategic plan on its website.

Individuals can call the Clinton Public Library at (563) 242-8441 or email Kate at kstruble@clintonpubliclibrary.us for more information.
