In partnership, Grow Clinton and DeWitt Chamber & Development Company will host an Iowa Senate District 35 forum on January 16. The forum will be at Clinton County Satellite Office – DeWitt located at 226 11th St. The forum will be held in the large conference room at 6 pm with doors opening at 5:30.
The format is a Q&A forum for the two candidates running for Senate. The Democratic candidate is Mike Zimmer, and the Republican candidate is Katie Whittington. Question topics will be shared with the candidates the week of the event. Candidates will give a 2 minute intro and then they will alternate who answers questions first. There will a 2 minute wrap up at the end. The event will be in person and live-streamed.

In addition, there will be regular legislative coffees held throughout session in partnership with Grow Clinton and DCDC. They are as follows:
The Legislative Coffee Events are on select Saturdays during session. Each Saturday, our elected officials make themselves available for two coffee sessions. The first being at 9 am at Camanche City Hall followed by one at 11 am at DeWitt Community Center. These events will also be live streamed on Youtube.com/@GrowClintonCountyIowa.
