Snowmobile Accident

On Thursday, January 23, 2O25, at approximately 7:25 PM, deputies from the Clinton County Sheriffs Office were dispatched to the 1600 block of 245th Avenue for a report of a snowmobile accident. Upon arrival, the deputies determined the accident involved a single snowmobile that was being operated on private property. The operator of the snowmobile, a juvenile male, sustained serious injuries as a result of the snowmobile accident, and was transferred to the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics by the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics Air Care.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Welton Fire Department, the DeWitt Fire Department, UIHC Air Care, and the Genesis Ambulance Service of DeWitt.
