The Drive to Prosperity project is a transformative initiative aimed at revitalizing Manufacturing Drive and Bluff Boulevard in Clinton, Iowa. This project is not just about reconstructing a roadway; it’s about investing in the future of our community. By enhancing the safety, connectivity, and quality of life for residents and businesses, we are laying the foundation for a prosperous and thriving Clinton. The project represents a significant investment in the future of Clinton, modernizing our infrastructure to create a more attractive environment for businesses and residents alike. Safety is a top priority; with enhancements including improved roadways, better lighting, and safer pedestrian pathways to ensure that our residents and visitors can travel safely and efficiently through the area. The Drive to Prosperity has been made possible through the dedicated efforts and support of many individuals and organizations. From city staff and leadership to community leaders and project partners, this initiative has been a collaborative effort. The RAISE grant has been instrumental in making this project a reality. With early support from Senator Grassley, Senator Ernst and Representative Miller-Meeks we look for continued support from stage legislators and representatives to continue this project without any funding pauses or changes. The project construction will be executed in multiple phases, starting with the construction of the bridge located south of Nestle Purina and Awesome Car Wash and just north of the Nestle rail spur.
