The Iowa Department of Transportation has advised that they will be conducting a bridge deck overlay project on the Highway 136 bridge between Clinton, Iowa, and Fulton, Illinois. As a result, the bridge will be closed to all traffic from May 12, 2025 through September 30, 2025.
During this time, all traffic will be detoured via the Highway 30 bridge. In the event of an incident on the Highway 30 bridge, traffic may be rerouted to the Savanna/Sabula bridge. Drivers should plan ahead for potential delays and increased traffic on alternate routes.
