The previous problems with the non-emergency phone lines at the Clinton County Sheriff’s Office have been fixed. Residents may once again use the regular non-emergency phone number of 563-242-9211 for calls of a non-emergent nature.

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office is experiencing problems with the phone system. The non-emergency line 563-242-9211 is not ringing through to the Communications Center. 911 phone lines are still in service. If residents need to contact the Sheriff’s Office for non-emergency matters, they are urged to call 563-243-1458 which is the non-emergency line for the Clinton Police Department, this number is answered at the same Communications Center that the Sheriff’s Office phone number is answered at. If residents need to contact the Sheriff’s Office for emergency issues they are urged to call 911.
