Tentative schedule of governmental meetings this week

Clinton City Council budget workshop has been cancelled for today (Monday) and discussion session among the meetings this week-‘read more’ for the tentative schedule

On Monday afternoon it’s the Clinton City Council’s budget workshop. The public safety departments are the topics.
The session will start at 3 o’clock.

The Fulton, Illinois City Council meets in a regular session on Monday evening.
The council will consider a proposal from a licensed Illinois retail fireworks dealer requesting permission to allow a three-month fireworks permit within the Fulton city limits. City codes currently prohibits fireworks sales with the city limits.

The Clinton County Board is meeting on Tuesday in their weekly session. They’ll start at 9:15 with the business agenda.
One of the items for discussion is the procedure in conducting meetings of the County Board.


On Tuesday it’s the Committee of the Whole meeting for the Clinton City Council
Converting four lane city streets to three lanes with a center left turn lane is the main topic. City Engineer Jason Craft would like a policy from the council on those conversions.
The Traffic Study Commission has recommended the conversion on 13th Avenue North from Second Street to 16th Street Northwest and 2nd Avenue South from Bluff to South 14th Street also on Springdale Drive from Bluff to 13th Avenue North.
The meeting will be 7 P-M on Tuesday at City Hall.

The Camanche City Council meets on Tuesday.
The council will get an update on a proposed community center and storage building and consider approval of spending about eleven thousand dollars for replacement tasers for the police department.

The Clinton Plan Commission meets on Wednesday at       4 pm at City Hall.
