The Clinton School District has finished the third year of surveys of students, staff and parents about their attitudes.
Superintendent Deb Olson said that with three years of data you can’t look at any one year but you can look at trends. Olson said she has asked the principals to work with staff and parents to review the data and pick some plans to improve the attitudes. The Superintendent says the students have also been asked to make plans to help improve the attitude..
Olson said she would always like a better reputation…for the school with students and parents.
But, says she there are areas to address. She said alcohol and drug abuse concern appears down but disruption in classrooms and issues of students picking on other students that must be addressed to be a stronger system
