Tentative Schedule of meetings this week-links to agendas included

The Clinton School Board and Clinton City Council are among the governmental bodies meeting this week-‘read more’ for details

The Clinton School Board has a business meeting on Monday. The session will be held at the Clinton High School instead of the regular meeting place at the Administrative Center.
The board will consider increasing student fees seven dollars at each level.
Other actions include action to switch to Gateway State Bank after reviewing proposals from interested financial institutions. The board will also consider changing the local insurance agent to the Core-Vens Company from the current A-C Root Agency after reviewing responses to a Request For Proposal.

Also on Monday there will be a reception to honor retiring teachers and other retiring employees of the district. That reception will be at Clinton High School from 4 to 5:15.

The Clinton County Board has their regular Tuesday morning session. The Supervisors have just a few resolutions to consider at the meeting that starts at 9:15 at the County Administration Building.

The Clinton Council meets on Tuesday evening. Among the items for consideration is a three year contract with the firefighters union. The deal includes a overall just under 2-point-4 percent wage increase with other adjustments in longevity and pay between ranks. There is also a planned closed session for potential or pending litigation.

On the Committee of the Whole agenda the council will review another plan to pay down a one-point-six million dollar deficit in the solid waste fund.

The Central School Board meets on Wednesday in a regular session. The Board will meet at 5 P-M for a policy review session. The business meeting starts at 6 o’clock.
